Departmental Student Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the undergraduate program in Communication Sciences & Disorders:

1. Graduates shall demonstrate knowledge of the scope of practice, professional practice, including ethical & legal aspects, & existing knowledge of communication sciences & disorders.
2. Graduates shall integrate & apply knowledge of clinical proficiency in the assessment & treatment of communication disorders.
3. Graduates shall integrate knowledge from basic & behavioral sciences & humanities with contemporary theory & practice in speech-language pathology.
