About
Originally from St. Louis, Ashleigh Harris graduated from Emporia State University in 2015 with a B.S. in athletic training.
In January 2016, she was hired as an interim assistant athletic trainer at Emporia
State. She started her M.S. at Missouri Western State University in August 2016 where
she was a graduate assistant working with Women's Soccer and Softball.
She came to Ouachita in September 2017 as an assistant athletic trainer and was appointed
head athletic trainer in June 2020.
Fun Facts
Why did you enter your profession?
I entered the field of athletic training to help athletes return to play after an
injury. I enjoy watching student-athletes overcome injuries and work hard to return
to the sport they love.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy golfing and hiking with my dogs.
