February 3-7, 2020 (full schedule)
CFW is a time of spiritual emphasis designed to inspire, challenge, teach and equip students, faculty and staff to be more faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Classes are cancelled for one hour each morning for worship times and the university calendar is reserved to help us renew students’ vision of God and reach out to people on campus with the Gospel.
This year’s theme is Testify based on Acts 20:24:
To testify means to give evidence as a witness that something has happened. Christians are people who have experienced the grace of Jesus and whose lives are meant to testify about that grace to others. Paul says, “I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace” (Acts 20:24).
When we pursue Christ with our whole life, we become examples and witnesses of God’s grace. Through life’s ups and downs, we continue to pursue Christ so that others may see and hear our testimony and know the love of Jesus.
