Ouachita Baptist University’s North Dallas Center was launched in the summer of 2008. Established as a Summer School extension in North Texas, the site offers classes that are typically taught at Ouachita’s main campus in Arkadelphia, Ark.


CORE 1123 Interpreting the Bible

Course Description: Students will learn to recognize and develop valid interpretations and applications of the Bible.

Professor: Dr. Wayne Braudrick

Dates:  June 5-30, 2018

Times: Tuesdays at 6:30 – 9 p.m and Saturdays at 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Costs: To take the course for credit, the course cost is $250. A student may audit the course for $100. (Book costs not included.)

Dr. Wayne Braudrick

Dr. Braudrick is a graduate of Baylor University, where he received lifetime teaching certification in history and literature. He also holds an MABS degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a PhD from Middlesex University in London.

Dr. Braudrick has received a number of recognitions and honors, including: Chester Cathedral Scholar (2004), Metropolitan Directory of Achievement (2003), Choctaw Nation Scholar (2003-2005), National Who’s Who Registry (2001), Honors Graduate, Dallas Theological Seminary (1994), Outstanding Young Men of America (1987 and 1992), Outstanding Teacher, Trinity Christian Academy (1989) and National Merit Scholar (1981-1985).

A native of Oklahoma City, he has been married to Janna Lynn Powell Braudrick since 1987. They are the parents of Jessica Lynn, Michael Wayne and Benjamin Powell Braudrick.
