I have dietary restrictions, can that be accommodated?
We can cater to most dietary needs/restrictions. The meals are cooked outside at the campsite so some limitations may apply. Be specific about your restrictions on your registration and we will contact you if we cannot accommodate your needs.
I am not a hardcore outdoorsperson, can I come on this trip?
YES! This trip is made for you. It is a great way to experience God’s creation and learn a little bit about camping. There are also bathrooms and showers at the campground.
What are our sleeping accommodations?
We will be sleeping in tents. If the weather permits and students would like to sleep in hammocks that is permissible as well.
I have paid my deposit, but how do I pay my remaining balance? When is it due?

What is the basic schedule?
Students will arrive at OBU on the afternoon of Sunday, August 5, from 3-4pm. We will then travel to the campsite and spend three days rotating through some great activities. The afternoon of Thursday, August 9, around 3pm we will arrive back at OBU.
What are the arrival/departure details?
Sign-in will be in the Evans Student Center on Sunday, August 5th from 3-4pm. Students who are leaving their cars for the week can park them in the Mabee parking lot. This is the lot just beyond the lower student center parking area. We will return to this parking lot at 3pm on Thursday, August 9th.
Can I bring my own camping gear, hammock, etc?
Yes, as long as you can leave some room in the back of the van for other’s things.
I don’t have any camping gear, what do I do?
Take a look at the packing list to see what you need. We will provide tents, climbing gear, and canoeing gear for everyone. We also have some sleeping bags and sleeping pads to rent. There is a place on the registration form to reserve these. These are in limited supply so first register, first serve.

What if I sign up and then can’t come?
If you cancel your reservation 1 month before the event your payment will be returned in full. After that you lose any payments made.
