Arkansas Adventures

  • Lake DeGray offers numerous horse trails just minutes from campus!

  • Created here at Ouachita, it is a mix between disc golf and mountain biking. Playable at any disc golf course.

  • The OBU rock wall located in SPEC is offered to students FREE of charge!
    • Hours are M-Th 4-7:30pm
  • Little Rock Climbing Center is a great place to climb indoors as well.
  • There are numerous outdoor climbing areas in the state.  Go to mountainproject.com to check them out.  Or attend a climbing trip with OBU Outdoor Rec!

 

  • Sail on Lake DeGray in Arkadelphia, or rent a nautical craft at Lake Hamilton near Hot Springs.

  • Arkansas offers 52 unique parks across the state.
  • 28 of the 52 have amenities for camping as well as hiking.

  •  Community pools, lakes, rivers, and ponds, Arkansas has it all!
