I have the privilege of working with students coming to Ouachita from other countries. If you’re an international student, missionary kid (MK) or third culture kid (TCK), I look forward to answering your questions and helping make the transition to Ouachita as seamless as possible. It probably goes without saying that I love traveling, experiencing new cultures, trying different types of food and learning from my friends from around the world. I also love being outside and enjoy activities like hiking, horseback riding and skiing.

My own journey in international education began when I was a student here at Ouachita through a study abroad experience in Austria. I’ve had the joy of working with people from many countries and backgrounds in different capacities, both inside and outside of the United States, including spending three years teaching in China. My role is not only to help you get to Ouachita, but also to welcome and help you in any way that I can once you’re here. I also teach in OBU’s English as a Second Language program.

We’re excited that you’re considering Ouachita and hope this soon becomes your “home away from home.”
