My name is Devin Jones, and I am the admissions counselor for South Arkansas, Greater Texas (except DFW), Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Utah. I’m originally from Flower Mound, Texas, but my family and in-laws are now in Arkansas. May of 2016, I graduated from Ouachita with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Dietetics. For the past two years, I have been working in Kentucky as my husband started his master’s degree at Asbury Theological Seminary.

A few of my hobbies include making art, reading, singing, drinking tea, going to the lake, catching a movie, and playing board games with friends. My husband, Adam, and I live right off-campus, so more often than not you’ll find us walking our corgi around campus in the evenings.

My time at Ouachita was incredibly full and rewarding. I held office in my social club, became an admissions telecounselor, participated in Tiger Tunes all 4 years, played intramural sports, joined Art Club, and got married! My favorite academic experience was the opportunity to show-off my own senior art exhibition in the Rosemary Gossett Adams gallery. For me, OBU was a safe space of growth that challenged my mind but simultaneously uplifted my soul. Professors, administrators, community members, classmates, and friends alike left me with deep, impactful gifts that I now have the opportunity to pass along to others.

I am so blessed to be back in Arkadelphia, a truly great place to call home. I am even more grateful to be in this position to help you determine if Ouachita is right for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I can’t wait to get to know you!
