The Academic Success Center offers tutoring services and study skill strategies to help students achieve their academic goals.

TUTORING SERVICES:

WALK-IN LAB TUTORING

Open setting where you can ask homework questions or get help when you need it throughout the semester

FACULTY-LED TUTORING

Meet with class instructors for assistance with your course

FOOTBALL & ATHLETIC STUDY HALLS

Customized study halls provided for every OBU athletic team
Monitored, quiet, designated study areas
Times that accommodate team practice programs
Tutors available for most all CORE subjects

ADDITIONAL TUTORING SERVICES AVAILABLE

FREE ONE-ON-ONE TUTORING

(Must meet eligibility requirements. Availability and frequency of these sessions are subject to change.)

Below a 2.000 cumulative GPA
Students holding Tiger Success (Conditional Admission I) status
Eligibility will be reevaluated when cumulative midterm GPA is posted

PAID ONE-ON-ONE EXTERNAL TUTORING

Private tutoring paid for by the student (tutor determines fee)

To request tutoring services not already on the weekly Walk-in lab schedule or for a one-on-one session (if you meet eligibility requirements) come by the center. We would be more than happy to walk you step by step on how to register for tutoring online.
