Scholarships are available!

Prospective and current students are invited to apply for scholarship funds available through the Department of Visual Arts.  Scholarships are competitive and recipients are expected to involve themselves in service to the department and fellow students. Academic performance, character, need, and community involvement among other criteria are considered by faculty in choosing recipients. Awarding of these scholarships is guided by such criteria and includes a portfolio of 8 to 10 recently created artworks and a survey that asks applicants a variety of questions related to the above described criteria such as need, community involvement, academic performance and the applicants goals as a student at Ouachita.

Completed applications and portfolio materials for new students enrolling in the 2020-2021 academic year will be reviewed starting in November. We will accept and review applications until all scholarships are awarded.

To apply, download the following application guide and return all the requested materials by the deadline.
