Colorado Ski Trip
Jan. 8-14, 2024
RecLife is excited to offer this amazing opportunity. We will stay in a beautiful
mountain house and spend 2 days on the slopes and 1 day playing in the snow, touring
a ghost town, and shopping in a mountain town. We will be hitting the slopes at Monarch Mountain and lodging at the base of Mt. Princeton.
There are no more spots available for the ski trip.
Registration closes Nov. 15
Register by Oct. 31: $475
Register Nov. 1-15: $525
Deposit of $100 due upon registration. Final payment due Dec. 15.
Price includes:
- Equipment Rental
- Skis, boots, poles or board and boots
- Helmet
- 2-day Lift Ticket at Monarch Mountain
- Ski lessons from the RecLife Director if needed.
- Transportation in a van
- Lodging in a house at the base of Mt. Princeton.
- Food while staying at the mountain house. We will cook our meals and eat together (breakfast, sack lunch, dinner)
Not included:
- Food while traveling (8 meals)
- Lunches at the mountain if you don’t want a sack lunch
- 1 meal out in Salida, Colo.
- We will be staying near the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. They are $40-45 if you would like to go one evening or on our day off.
- Souvenirs
Jan. 8: Leave approximately 8 a.m. and travel to Amarillo, Texas where we will sleep at a church
Jan. 9: Complete our drive to Salida, Colo.
Jan. 10-11: Drive 45 minutes to Monarch Mountain to spend our days skiing and boarding
Jan. 12: We will play in the snow and tour a ghost town in the morning. In the afternoon we will go to Salida, Colo. to browse the shops and find a great place to eat dinner.
Jan. 13: Leave Colorado and travel part way home where we will sleep at a church
Jan. 14: Arrive back on campus around 5 p.m.

The temperatures can vary from 0-30 degrees, so be prepared for cold temperatures.
