About
When I graduated from Ouachita, I never dreamed I would be fortunate enough to spend
every day on this beautiful campus helping bring new students into the Ouachita family.
My husband, who is the dean of social sciences, and I moved to Arkadelphia in 2006.
We have raised our three children here. We have two sons, a daughter and a daughter-in-law
who are all alumni. I am a very proud grandmother to adorable Miriam and sweet baby
boy arriving soon. I love photography (I get to teach Intro to Photography this fall
for Ouachita!), gardening and cheering on the Tigers (often while my husband is serving
as the PA for football or basketball games).
Fun Facts
What is your favorite place on campus and why?
My favorite place on campus is Cone Bottoms Hall. It is where my office is located
and the oldest building on campus (built in 1923 as a women's dorm). I love serving
this wonderful school in walls where so much history and student life has happened.
I love the view out my window and hearing the chimes from the chapel (which are ringing
as I type).
