Research Interests: Research in my lab focuses on questions in population genetics, ecology, and conservation biology. Current projects include: 1) conservation genetics of endangered plants in Florida, 2) population genetics of Aleutian Island land birds, and 3) assessing breeding bird distributions and habitat use in southwestern Arkansas. These projects provide students with opportunities to learn field and laboratory skills and to gain valuable experience in wildlife and conservation biology.
