The Nutrition and Dietetics Senior Seminar class is hosting an event centered around World Food Day and global hunger. Participants can stop by for a few minutes between 10 AM and 4:30 PM at the Neighbor’s Table on October 16. The class hopes to educate students and other participants on hunger through facts and visual representations of poverty. Participants will view meals of people in poverty in other countries, the typical American diet, and recommended portion sizes. The goals of the event are to encourage the campus to consider global hunger and ways to help. This event is free and open to all!
