Ouachita's graduate counseling program receives $1.1 million grant
Ouachita Baptist University’s M.A. in counseling program has been awarded a four-year grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration totaling more than $1.1 million, it announced on Aug. 7.

Ouachita dedicates Larry Grayson Worship Studies Suite
Ouachita Baptist University’s new worship studies facilities in Mabee Fine Arts Center have been named in honor of Larry Grayson, instructor and chair of the university’s Department of Worship Studies. The suite, which includes a lab-style worship space and a multipurpose lobby area, was officially dedicated in a ceremony on April 24.
Honorees announced for 2025 Stepping Up for Ouachita
Ouachita Baptist University will host its 15th annual Stepping Up for Ouachita luncheon, presented by Citizens Bank, on Friday, Nov. 14, at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock. The event will raise money for scholarships and honor four women: Jennifer Jones Hamner of Hot Springs, Ark., Terri Smithson King of Arkadelphia, Ark., Greta Wilcher McDonald of Heavener, Okla., and Christine Deaver Street of Greenbrier, Ark.
