Piano
The keyboard studies area offers courses in performance, pedagogy, and literature
and provides ensemble and accompanying experiences. Private instruction in piano,
organ, and harpsichord are offered, and private and class instruction in piano is
provided for students majoring in performance areas other than keyboard.
Recent concerts at Ouachita have featured national and international competition winners,
Grammy nominated duo piano teams, and world renowned jazz pianists.
Academic Programs
Degrees offered with a major concentration in piano or organ studies include:
- Bachelor of Music in Performance and Worship Studies
- Bachelor of Music Education in Choral Music
- Bachelor of Arts with a major in Music or Music Industry
