Housing
Listed below is the timeline for the Fall 2025 housing process. As each of these dates
approach, students will receive communication highlighting the details of how to sign
up and what to expect. Every current student must complete a housing application to
guarantee housing for the Fall 2025 semester.
Apartment timeline
February 18-28 – Apartment applications open for eligible students on the student web portal.
March 17 – Apartment selection (applicants will be notified of their specific appointment time).
Apartment Life
Qualifications to apply for a university apartment:
- Students with senior classification (89+ hours) must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
- Students with junior classification (59-88 hours) must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
The student must be in good disciplinary standing with the university at the time
of application.
Residence Hall timeline
March 18-April 2 – Residence Hall applications will be available on the student web portal.
April 23 – Residence Hall Selection for female students (residents will be notified of their specific appointment time).
April 24 – Residence Hall Selection for male students (residents will be notified of their specific
appointment time).

How is selection order determined for apartment selection?
Each applicant’s completed hours will be combined and averaged to determine the rank order.
How is selection order determined for residence hall selection?
Resident’s must apply in groups of 4 (each residence hall suite houses 4 students). Each resident’s completed hours will be combined and averaged with their group of 4, to determine the rank order.
What role does GPA play in the application process for apartments?
Students with senior classification (89 hours) must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA to qualify.
Students with junior classification (59 hours) must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA to qualify.
What if I cannot access the apartment sign-up on the portal?
Only eligible students will have access to the apartment application.
What are my chances of getting into...?
Availability varies every year but is dependent on your place in the rank order and what housing options are available.
What if I'm getting married before the fall semester begins?
Please indicate on the apartment application your need for married housing including your wedding date.
I’m graduating. Do I need to complete a housing application?
Yes! Students who do not plan to live in a residence hall or university apartment for the Fall semester are also required to complete the application. (Please indicate commuter, study abroad, graduation, married, off campus housing exception, etc.).
