New OBU Experience course teaches campus tradition, expectations to freshmen

This fall, Ouachita Baptist University added a new class to the core curriculum designed specifically for freshmen. The OBU Experience, an eight-week course held one hour each week, is required of all incoming freshmen.

Stephanie Beck, a senior French and Russian major from Sheridan, Ark., and Emmanuel Engulu, a senior Christian studies, theology and kinesiology major from Keller, Texas, have been named University Scholars by Ouachita Baptist University’s College Society Advisory Board.
