General Information
Opera Theatre is a performance group intended to develop and apply the basic skills of acting (deportment, expression, diction, character development, etc.), stagecraft, makeup and musical style in opera productions. Faculty, staff and students involved in this production work diligently to prepare performances of the highest caliber with a full range of technical capabilities at their disposal. Venues for opera productions range from the 350-seat McBeth Recital Hall to the 1,500-seat state-of-the-art Jones Performing Arts, which allows for programming a broad range of works.
