Each year, our Fall Retreat is a great way to start the semester. Students will have a chance to worship together, think, and pray about the semester ahead of them.

In addition to our Refuge team leading worship and welcome from Dr. Sells, we've got some great speakers lined up to share on the theme of peace.

Bryan McKinney, Dean of the Hickingbotham School of Business, will speak on our main theme, "The Peace of Jesus."

Peace with Your Personality • Hannah Pilcher
There are dozens of personality tests in the world. From the Enneagram to “Which Friends character are you?” None are perfect, but they sometimes help us figure out more of who we are, how we’re created, and how to relate with others. Come learn about the unique way you were made.

Coping with Stress and Anxiety • Dan Jarboe
The question isn't whether or not life will be stressful, but "What will be the patterns you develop for dealing with stress and anxiety?" You can’t avoid stress or situations that provoke anxiety. But you can control how you respond. In this session, you’ll hear some simple and practical ways to navigate through the stressors of college and minimize your risk for anxiety problems and coping poorly.

Faith for the Long Haul • Tracey Knight
The Christian life has been described as a “long obedience in the same direction.” College promises to be an important season of life, but it’s not the only one. How can you live out your faith now in such a way that will prepare you for peace in all the seasons ahead?

Peace and Friendship • Mary Chung
College relationships are great, but they’re not always automatic or easy.
Dr. Chung will share about her own college experience, what she wishes she had known, and ways you can find peace in your own life and with others.

Taking the Peace of Jesus to the World • IMB Missionary
