Ouachita Stories

TWIRP Week is one of the Ouachita traditions that has always created an exciting and costume-filled start to the semester. Over the years the themes and events have changed, but one thing has remained the same -- The Woman Is Required to Pay. Similar to a Sadie Hawkins dance, the ladies are the ones doing the asking. However, we don't stop at just one event. TWIRP Week has a different event each night with a new theme and all sorts fun.
