The Woman Is Required to Pay: Our favorites from TWIRP Week 2016
January 01, 2020
TWIRP Week is one of the Ouachita traditions that has always created an exciting and
costume-filled start to the semester. Over the years the themes and events have changed,
but one thing has remained the same -- The Woman Is Required to Pay. Similar to a Sadie
Hawkins dance, the ladies are the ones doing the asking. However, we don't stop at
just one event. TWIRP Week has a different event each night with a new theme and all
sorts fun.
Each year there are so many great costumes and photos, but check out some of our favorite
Instagrams from TWIRP Week 2016!

Barn Bash was worth buying the western boots for $30 at Walmart which I won't wear in Japan! I was very terrible at squire dancing but it was so much fun!! Thank you so much @jmcw97 for being my date! #TWIRP And I also really appreciate you all helping me find my iPhone ???
