Ouachita Baptist University will host its annual FORE Ouachita NWA event at Topgolf in Rogers, Arkansas, on April 20, with First Western Bank as the presenting sponsor. The event, scheduled for 5-8 p.m., will bring together alumni, parents, prospective students and families in support of student scholarships and alumni engagement.  

“It’s meaningful to connect with the community in Northwest Arkansas, since it’s home to so many of our current students and where a significant number of alumni live and work,” said Dr. Ben Sells, Ouachita’s president. “Whether people play on a team at the event or spend the time talking and reconnecting with college friends, it’s an enjoyable night.” 

This year’s event will also feature the Cub Zone: a space with activities and games just for kids. 

“We love seeing the Ouachita family show up, engage and support the university year after year,” said Jordan Sharp, a 2016 Ouachita graduate and chair of this year’s FORE committee. “It’s more than a social event; it’s a time for families, friends and alumni to connect and invest directly in the lives of students.”
