From the Ouachitonian: Slaton Teague
January 20, 2020Serving as a student minister gave Slaton Teague the opportunity to live out God’s will for his life. A senior Christian studies major with an emphasis in Biblical studies and Christian ministry from White Oak, Texas, Teague spent the past three years pouring into students as an intern, associate pastor and now a student pastor. His time at Ouachita shaped him into a lifelong learner as he continued to build relationships with students.

Ouachita to present A Festival of Christmas Nov. 30 & Dec. 1
November 16, 2018Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Fine Arts will present its annual A Festival of Christmas performances on Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, both at 7:30 p.m. in Jones Performing Arts Center.
Ouachita Baptist University will host the Honor Choir in concert on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m. in McBeth Recital Hall, located in Mabee Fine Arts Center.

September 21, 2018Ouachita Baptist University’s Elrod Center for Family and Community will host Tiger Serve Day on Saturday, Sept. 22. The event is held in every spring and fall semester of the school year and creates a space for students, faculty and staff to serve the community.
