Ouachita's Concert Choir to present works by Bernstein and Fauré May 3

The Ouachita Baptist University Concert Choir will perform Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem on Tuesday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the McBeth Recital Hall on Ouachita’s Arkadelphia campus.

Ouachita Jazz Band to perform spring concert on April 26

The Ouachita Baptist University Jazz Band, under the direction of Dr. Craig Hamilton, OBU’s Lena Goodwin Trimble Professor of Music, director of bands and music education chair, will perform its annual spring concert on April 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Jones Performing Arts Center on OBU’s Arkadelphia campus.

OBU hosts 10-Minute Play Festival March 12

Ouachita Baptist University will host the 9th annual 10-Minute Play Festival on Saturday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Verser Theatre. Also known as All Night Theatre, the 10-Minute Play Festival will feature five or six student-written and -directed one-act plays.

Ouachita Baptist University’s Vocal Studies Program will hold its 13th annual Mary Shambarger Competition for Singers on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. in McBeth Recital Hall on the Ouachita campus.
