Ouachita trustees approve three new faculty, honor Jim and Sally Dann as emeriti faculty

Ouachita Baptist University’s Board of Trustees approved three new faculty members and honored two retiring faculty members during the board’s June 12 meeting on Ouachita’s Arkadelphia campus.

Ouachita Baptist University officials broke ground June 12 for the new Ben M. Elrod Center for Family and Community. Participating in the groundbreaking were (left to right) Irwin Seale of Seale Construction, general contractor for the project; Dr. Brett Powell, vice president for administrative services; Steve Elliott of Lewis Architects Engineers; Gene Whisenhunt, chairman of the OBU Board of Trustees; Dr. Ben Elrod, OBU chancellor and former president; and Ouachita President Rex Horne.
