Ouachita Baptist University welcomes prospective students and their families to campus
for Tiger Friday Sept. 25. To register, visit www.obu.edu/tigerfridays.
Tiger Fridays offer prospective students and their parents an opportunity to experience
the feel of Ouachita through campus tours, visiting a class, panel discussions and
eating in the Ouachita Commons. Visitors will also enjoy personal attention from OBU’s
admissions staff, faculty and administration.
The day begins with an opening program in Young Auditorium at 9 a.m., followed by
an opportunity at 9:30 a.m. for students and parents to learn more about Ouachita’s
academic programs in a meeting with an admissions counselor and the dean of the school
that they are interested in entering.
At 10 a.m., an admissions counselor will lead visitors on a campus tour, and at 11
a.m., students may attend a class of their choice. While students are in class, parents
are invited to visit with administrators for a question and answer panel in Berry
Chapel.
At 12 noon, visitors are invited to eat in the Alumni Room of the Ouachita Commons,
where they can visit with other parents, students and members of the Ouachita community.
The next Tiger Friday will take place on Dec. 4, 2009.
