Dietetics Club provides Nutrition Fair for Head Start

Ouachita Baptist University’s Dietetics Club, sponsored by Ouachita’s Ben M. Elrod
Center for Family and Community, provided a Nutrition Fair Nov. 12 for children in
Arkadelphia’s Head Start Program.
Approximately 65 children and 10 family members participated in the event, which was
held at the Community Family and Enrichment Center.
Members of the Dietetics Club provided activities for participants including Play-dough
with food-shaped cookie cutters, “Fishing for a healthy snack” paperclip fishing game,
face painting, trail mix making and other nutrition-conscious games.
