October 29, 2010 - Ben Harrington
Ouachita Baptist University’s Pruet School of Christian Studies will host Seminary
Day on Friday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Evans Student Center on Ouachita’s
campus.
Representatives from 16 seminaries and divinity schools from across the country will
be present to meet with students who are interested in attending seminary. Dr. Danny
Hays, dean of the Pruet School of Christian Studies, said that he encourages all students
with any level of interest in seminary to attend this event.
Hays also stated that this event is a great opportunity for Ouachita students to explore
the diverse options for seminary studies and to talk to the representatives about
their programs, classes, scholarships and costs.
The representatives will have informational literature and visuals to present to students.
Seminary Day will include representatives from such schools as Dallas Theological
Seminary, Denver Seminary, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary and Wheaton College.
