Ouachita to host Kaylee Nebe in sophomore musical theatre recital Oct. 18

Ouachita Baptist University’s Division of Music will host Kaylee Nebe in her sophomore
musical theatre recital Friday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. in Mabee Fine Arts Center’s McBeth
Recital Hall. The recital is free and open to the public.
Nebe is a native of Mesquite, Texas. The recital will begin with John Kander’s “Roxie”
from Chicago, followed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus’ “Someone Else’s Story” from Chess. Next, Nebe will perform Act I, Scene 2 from “Wonder of the World” by David Lindsay-Abaire.
The recital will conclude with Stephen Schwartz’ “What Is This Feeling?” from Wicked.
Cami Willis, a junior musical theatre and church media/production arts major from
Flower Mound, Texas, will accompany Nebe for the final two selections. Susan Monroe
will accompany on the piano.
