We are monitoring all governmental and institutional guidelines and will continually be assessing whether FOOT will be possible under these guidelines. If FOOT has to be cancelled due to the fact that we cannot follow these guidelines, then all registrants will receive a full refund.
We can cater to most dietary needs/restrictions. The meals are cooked outside at the campsite so some limitations may apply. Be specific about your restrictions on your registration and we will contact you if we cannot accommodate your needs.
YES! This trip is made for you. It is a great way to experience God’s creation and learn a little bit about camping. There are also bathrooms and showers at the campground.
We will be sleeping in tents. If the weather permits and students would like to sleep in hammocks that is permissible as well.
Students will arrive at OBU on the afternoon of Sunday, August 9, from 3-4pm. We will then travel to the campsite and spend three days rotating through some great activities. The afternoon of Thursday, August 13, around 3pm we will arrive back at OBU.
Sign-in will be in the Evans Student Center on Sunday, August 9th from 3-4pm. Students who are leaving their cars for the week can park them in the Mabee parking lot. This is the lot just beyond the lower student center parking area. We will return to this parking lot at 3pm on Thursday, August 13th.
Yes, as long as you can leave some room in the back of the van for other’s things.
Take a look at the packing list to see what you need. We will provide tents, climbing gear, and canoeing gear for everyone. We also have some sleeping bags and sleeping pads to rent. There is a place on the registration form to reserve these. These are in limited supply so first register, first serve.
If you cancel your reservation 1 month before the event your payment will be returned in full. After that you lose any payments made.
