Gifts you can buy in the Ouachita bookstore

December 11, 2018 - William Goodson

It’s officially the Christmas season, and we are all wondering the same thing: What should I give my friends, parents and siblings? Don’t freak out, I got you. You don’t even have to go far—the Ouachita Bookstore has you covered. Here are some options.

For your friends

Ouachita blanket: For all those times when it’s like 90 degrees outside but your crib is freezing cold.
Ouachita hat: We all have that one friend who wears a hat literally every day, even when going out. It’s like a Greek tragedy when they have an event where hats aren’t appropriate.
Ouachita mug: For the mug collectors out there, duh?
Ouachita Dri-Fit shirt: For our friends who are addicted to working out (and pre-workouts and post-workouts).

For your parents

Whether you are a freshman or a senior, the build-it-yourself My-kid’s-going-to-Ouachita starter pack or My-kid-goes-to-Ouachita gift set is perfect for your parents. And, just fyi, don’t be surprised if this gift makes them cry. #proudparents

Something along these lines is good:

  1. Mug
  2. Hat
  3. “Ouachita Mom” or “Ouachita Dad” shirt
  4. “Ouachita parent” car decal
  5. Christmas ornament

For your siblings who have committed to attend Ouachita

Ouachita T-shirt: They will want to rock the Ouachita colors and Tiger now that they know they’re coming next fall. Go with a larger size if your sib is a sister; that’s the current style around here. And if it’s your brother, trust me, he’ll want the smaller size (no shame in a quick flex).

Ouachita leggings/sweatpants: They might think, “I would never wear sweats to class.” We were all there once. Give ’em time.
