CFW 2019 Leaders

Christian Focus Week is February 4-8 and we're excited to have a great group of speakers, musicians, and
events for our campus to grow in their faith. We pray that this week encourages us

Morning Worship Leader: Ashley Huenefeld
Ashley is a 2014 graduate of Ouachita with a Bachelor of Music degree in Worship Arts.
She has led worship in many contexts and venues, and served on staff with Fellowship
Church in Little Rock and FBC Benton. Ashley is married to Paul Huenefeld, a 2012
graduate of Ouachita.
Speakers
John McCallum is the pastor of First Baptist, Hot Springs, where he has served since 1995. John
received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and
did his masters and doctoral work at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas
City, Missouri. John has been married to Dayna since 1977. They have two children;
Nathan and Kristen, and 7 grandchildren. In ministry, John most enjoys preaching/teaching,
engaging with people, and missions. Outside of work, John enjoys following the Razorbacks,
playing with his grandkids, World War II history, golf, reading, dabbling with his
guitar, and fitness training.
Kristen Padilla is an author, speaker, wife, and mom located in Birmingham, Alabama. She received
a Master of Divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School of Samford University and
her B.A. degree at Ouachita. She has been involved in mentoring young women called
to ministry, speaking on the topic of calling at retreats, writing Bible studies,
and teaching Scripture at women's events. She currently serves as the marketing and
communications coordinator for Beeson Divinity School.
Harry Li is the Senior Pastor of Mosaic Church in Little Rock, AR, where he has served since
2002. He the co-author of Leading a Healthy Multi-ethnic Church. Prior to becoming a pastor, Harry was an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering
at the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID, where he taught for ten years. He has a
passion for prayer and helps lead the citywide pastors’ prayer movement in Central
Arkansas.
Nathan James is one of the founding pastors of Epoch Church in Little Rock. He preaches God’s
Word to his church family as well as organizes many of the missions teams at Epoch.
He has a desire to see individuals commit their lives whole-heartedly to the Lord
and to help them follow Christ each moment of each day. Nathan has an amazing wife,
Natalie, and four children.
Nathan Wagnon is a native of Arkansas and a graduate of Ouachita and Dallas Theological Seminary.
He currently serves as the Director of Equipping and Apologetics at Watermark Church
in Dalls. After his time in school, Nathan joined the Army. After his second deployment
to Afghanistan, he began to sense the Lord pushing him into vocational ministry which
brought him to Watermark. He is the co-author of Checkpoints: A Tactical Guide to Manhood. Nathan and his wife Margaret we have three children.
Scott Duvall is Fuller Professor of New Testament at Ouachita. He teaches NT Greek Exegesis, Life
of Christ, Revelation, Spiritual Formation, and Interpreting the Bible. Scott has
co-authored numerous books and articles, inlcuding Grasping God's Word, Living God's Word, Journey into God's Word, Preaching God's Word,
and the Baker Illustrated Bible Handbook. He also serves on the leadership team at Epoch Church in Little Rock.
Leigh Anne McKinney is the director of the America Reads & America Counts programs at the Elrod Center
at Ouachita. She is a 1994 graduate of Ouachita with a B.A. in Marketing. Leigh Anne
and her husband Bryan have two sons and are active members at Park Hill Baptist Church
in Arkadelphia.
Chris Brune is the chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance at Ouachita. He is a 1994
graduate of OBU, and then went on the University of Arkansas to earn his masters degree
and Ph.D. in finance. Chris directs the Ary Student Investment Fund each year and
leads a regularly Bible study for college students.
Quantel Williams serves as Resident Director for Tollett Hall. Originally from Cameron, TX, he is
a 2018 graduate of East Texas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion
with a concentration in Christian Education and Youth Ministry. During his time as
a student at ETBU, Quantel served three years as a Resident Assistant, served as Student
Body President, Baptist Student Ministry Coordinator, and served in the Office of
Admissions. Quantel is also a licensed minister and served various churches during
his time at ETBU.
Rickey and Lydia Rogers have been together for 18 years and married for 17 years. They have three children
Rickey Jr. (16), Reyna (14), and Ryan (11). Lydia serves as Resident Director of
O.C. Bailey Hall, and is also an account and works part time for First Baptist Church.
Lydia also homeschools their 3 children. Rickey serves as Dean of Students and Director
of Residence Life at Ouachita. They have served together in praise and worship bands,
church organization committees, couples ministry, youth ministry, summer camp pastors,
and church planting essentials training through the state, as well as through various
roles with the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and Arkansas WMU.
Special Guests
We The Union is a collaborative worship band from Fellowship Church in Little Rock. Leaders include Ouachita alumni Klayton Seyler and Aaron Williams. They will be leading worship on Tuesday night at 8pm in JPAC.
