Hannah R., Asst. Dir. Of CM (Guesthouse)

After graduating college in 2013, Hannah went to South Asia to work with a non-profit company and in college ministry. She’ll share some of the lessons she learned while sharing the love of Jesus, and how they relate to college students.

Love Beyond Borders: God’s Heart for Redeeming the World
Amy Gattis, Asst. Dir. of Grant Center (Rec Building A)

Amy will share a biblical perspective on God’s work around the world. From Genesis to Revelation, God has always cared about all nations and all peoples. Learn how you can be a part of His mission.

It’s a Family Thing:  Learning the Love of God through Adoption
Jimmy Darby, Student Pastor, FBC Arkadelphia (Dining Hall A)

1 John 3 says that because of God’s great love “we are children of God.” Christians have a unique opportunity to show the love of God through adoption. We will discuss how the Gospel is communicated in each adoption story and why it should matter to college students.

When Love Speaks Truth
Keldon Henley, OBU Vice-President (Dining Hall B)

True friendship is not always easy. If we really care about our friends, we have to confront them sometimes. Dr. Henley will share some ideas from his years of experience with college students about how you can be truly caring in tough circumstances.

Navigating God’s Will for Your Life
Jon Mark Page, OBU International Guest (Rec Building B)

Loving God means following Him, but have you ever struggled with how to discern God's will in your life?  Hear Jon Mark’s own story and take a look at what the Word says about decision making.
