Life after Tunes: What to do with your new free time
January 01, 2020
My life was crazy busy during Tiger Tunes rehearsals. Practicing 15 hours a week takes
a big chunk of time, and the week of Tunes takes even more time. Now that it’s over,
my evenings have opened up – like a lot. I have 15 extra hours a week I didn’t have
for the past four weeks.
What on Earth am I going to do with all that excess time?
I decided to make a list of 20 things I can do since Tiger Tunes ended. If you are
also struggling with too much time, maybe this list will also help you. Binge watch
Netflix.
1.) Go to bed before 11 p.m.
2.) Have a game night with friends I haven’t talked to since the beginning of the school year.
3.) Kayak Lake DeGray.
4.) Finish all the homework I’ve been pushing back.
5.) Become an entrepreneur. I’m thinking a queso delivery service for the school.
6.) Start a YouTube channel.
7.) Learn a new language. Italian sounds nice.
8.) Write a book – maybe a memoir or Sci-Fi novel?
9.) Teach myself how to juggle.
10.) Paint a portrait of George Washington.
11.) Learn the Beta Astronaut Tunes show.
12.) Catch a ghost on video.
13.) Pick up another major.
14.) Be able to name every brand of car in alphabetical order.
15.) Find my doppelgänger.
16.) Search for Bigfoot.
17.) Learn to play the didgeridoo.
18.) Hand-stitch my own tapestry.
19.) Have a jumping contest with a kangaroo.
