More than 700 Ouachita volunteers serve Arkadelphia community

More than 700 Ouachita students, faculty and staff volunteered by completing 92 projects at homes, churches, nonprofits and other locations throughout Arkadelphia.

More than 800 Ouachita students, faculty and staff completed 83 projects at area homes, non-profits, churches and designated trash pickup sites across Arkadelphia and DeGray Lake.

September 29, 2021Ouachita Baptist University’s Elrod Center for Family and Community held its Fall 2021 Tiger Serve Day event on Saturday, Sept. 25. One hundred projects in and around Arkadelphia were completed by 831 Ouachita volunteers who also resumed traditional Tiger Serve Day activities such as visiting the homes of senior adults, yard work and assisting local nonprofit organizations like LightHouse Ministries and The Percy and Donna Malone Child Safety Center.
