“Music has always been a huge part of my life, but I was always too shy to sing for others until my drama teacher in high school came alongside me and spoke truth into my life,” explained Curry, a choral education major from Little Rock, Ark. “Now I love to sing, act and dance, and just like my drama teacher, I want to help students find their own talents and see the person God has created them to be.”

“The songs I chose for my recital are pieces that I have grown to love over the past few years,” said Moxley, a senior worship arts major from Bluefield, Va. “The sacred pieces I chose express scriptural truth that has been important in my life. I believe that music has a way of expressing emotions and beliefs beyond words alone, and I hope that the audience can relate to that.”

Curry is president of Ouachita Singers, a recipient of the James Harrison Music Scholarship, the Ouachita Concert Choir student conductor and a 2012 Tiger Tunes host. Moxley is a member of Ouachita Singers, Ouachita Student Foundation, Pi Kappa Lamda national music honor sociaty, Alpha Chi national college honor society and Theta Alpha Kappa national honor society for religious studies and theology. She was also named a 2014 Presser Scholar.
