Ouachita seniors Kimberley Attaway & Alexis Morgan to perform recitals Nov. 18

November 15, 2016 - Haley Martin

Ouachita Baptist University will host Kimberley Attaway and Alexis Morgan for their senior recitals on Friday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. in McBeth Recital Hall. The recitals are free and open to the public.

“This recital is a symbol of everything I have learned while being a vocal major here at Ouachita,” said Morgan, a music education major from Frisco, Texas. “My peers and teachers have seen me grow all four years so it's a sentimental experience for me as well as those in the audience who have witnessed my singing career.”

“This recital will be a memory that I can look back on with pride and accomplishment,” said Attaway, a music education major from Austin, Texas. “It really is a showcase of all that I have learned in regards to voice during my time at Ouachita. The experience has challenged me to extend outside my comfort zone and grow as a performer.”

She has received the Rachel Fuller Memorial Scholarship and has been on the President’s List. She also has served a Tiger Tunes director and the Ouachita Honor Choir assistant.
