Weather Update: Campus Closed Feb. 3

Ouachita NewsFebruary 02, 2022 - Brooke Zimny

Offices are closed and residential classes are canceled tomorrow, Feb. 3, due to inclement weather. Additional information will be sent via Ouachita’s Emergency Alert system as needed. Students, please be attentive to your email and text messages. A decision about Friday’s classes and operations will be made tomorrow.

Use extreme caution while driving and while walking on campus sidewalks and steps. Travel off campus is discouraged due to anticipated icy roadways. We encourage you to follow local news outlets (KARK, KATV, KTHV) or the National Weather Service for more information on local weather.

Dining Services is closed for breakfast, and breakfast in a bag is available tonight in the Ouachita Commons. Lunch will be available at all locations. Additional dining information is available via email and OBU Campus Dining social media accounts. The library will be closed, but online resources are available at obu.edu/library.

Campus will be open Friday, Feb. 4, with some options for remote work or class. Read more.
