2021-22 Freshman Scholarship Calculator
At Ouachita we are excited to welcome some of the brightest and most creative women
and men to study within our unique community of learners and instructors. In order
to help with the costs of private higher education, we offer a comprehensive financial
aid program that includes both merit-based and need-based aid.
Below is a calculator designed to give you an idea of the merit-based aid you could
receive as an incoming student for the 2021-22 year.
Please Note:
- Ouachita uses your high school grade point average to determine scholarship eligibility and for admission purposes. Your 7th semester grade point average as calculated by the Ouachita Baptist University Registrar at the time of admission will be the grade point average by which we make award determinations.
- Eligibility for need-based aid will be determined by the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available online at www.fafsa.gov. The 2021-22 electronic form will become available after October 1, 2020.
- International students who will plan to study on an F1 student visa may provide official TOEFL or IELTS scores to determine merit-based aid from the university. Contact Jason Greenwich at greenwichj@obu.edu for assistance.
