Ouachita Baptist University seniors Brent Nessler and Sara Walker were named winners of the W. Francis and Mary McBeth Wind and Percussion Concerto Competition on Dec. 13.

Ouachita faculty member Dr. Dave Ozmun published in media history textbook

Dr. Dave Ozmun, professor of communications at Ouachita Baptist University, was recently published in Routledge Reader on Electronic Media History. Ozmun’s article, “Opportunity Deferred: A 1952 Case Study of a Woman in Network Television News,” contributed to a textbook that will be used in universities worldwide.

Ouachita dedicates updated and expanded Rosemary Adams Department of Art and Design

Visiting her alma mater Dec. 11 to dedicate the Rosemary Gossett Adams Department of Art and Design, the guest of honor told Ouachita students and faculty, “What was mine, I give to you. I only ask that you use it and enjoy it.”
