OBU students Burris, Rogier, Secrest, Surber and Wisdom to present recitals April 5
April 02, 2013Ouachita Baptist University will host five student recitals on Friday, April 5, in Mabee Fine Arts Center’s McBeth Recital Hall. Joel Rogier and Caitlin Secrest will perform at 11 a.m., and Chad Burris, Blaine Surber and Tyler Wisdom will perform at 2 p.m.

April 01, 2013Jennifer Burkett, lecturer in English and director of the Speer Writing Center at Ouachita Baptist University, presented her paper “Where Do You Think You’re Going? Exploring Repercussions of Brain Drain in a Small Southern Community” at this year’s annual Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) in Las Vegas March 16.
