Ouachita to host annual One-Act Play Festival Dec. 10-11
November 30, 2009Ouachita Baptist University will host its annual One Act Play Festival Dec. 10 and 11 in Verser Theatre on Ouachita’s campus. Each night, students will perform five different student-directed one act plays.
Dr. Raymond Coppenger, Ouachita professor emeritus, dies at age 100
November 25, 2009Retired Ouachita Baptist University professor Raymond A. Coppenger, who celebrated his 100th birthday in September, died Nov. 24 following a bout with pneumonia.

November 20, 2009Abby Turner, a fifth grade student at Peake Elementary School in Arkadelphia, has been named a first-place winner in the “Historic Moment in Arkansas” essay invitational, which was sponsored by the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program and Radio Disney, according to AHPP Director Frances McSwain.
