Mantooth, a native of Sherwood, Ark., has been named a finalist and semi-finalist in the state and regional NATS auditions and has been named to Ouachita’s President’s and Dean’s Lists. She has participated in Ouachita Opera Theatre productions as the First Lady in The Magic Flute and as a chorus member in Don Giovanni. Mantooth has served as editor and historian of Ouachita’s chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota women’s international music fraternity and has been a member of OBU’s women’s golf team and EEE women’s social club.

For Mantooth’s portion of the recital, she will begin with “Toccata (Ride on King Jesus),” the fourth movement from John Carter’s “Cantata”; followed by Richard Strauss’ “Morgen!”; Giacomo Puccini’s “Quando men vo” from La Bohème; and Claude Debussy’s “Beau soir.” She will continue with Giuseppe Verdi’s “Saper vorreste” from Un ballo in maschera and conclude with John Du Prez “Whatever Happened to My Part?” from Monty Python’s Spamalot. Mantooth will be accompanied on the piano by Phyllis Walker.
