Ouachita Baptist University announced today that 99 percent of the recent graduating class are employed in some capacity or furthering their education. That number exceeds the national average for colleges and universities by 15 percent.

How "small" made a big difference in my academic career

Deciding where you want to go to college by weighing what each school offers can be difficult – especially if you aren’t sure if you would benefit more in your studies by attending a big school or a small school. Going to a school of Ouachita’s size for my education has had some major advantages.

Cole Jester wins 10th annual Ouachita Business Plan Competition

Ouachita Baptist University’s Hickingbotham School of Business hosted its 10th annual Business Plan Competition on Dec. 5. Cole Jester, a senior Christian studies/biblical studies major from Benton, Ark., placed first in the competition with his business plan for Bone Dri and received a $4,000 cash prize.
