Teaching science meets Doctor Who
May 09, 2019In March, the Patterson School of Natural Sciences hosted an event for local fourth through sixth grade girls called Girls in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). The Saturday event was led by our class, Science for Elementary Teachers, and was an awesome chance for us to engage girls in the community and to help them feel empowered in male-dominated STEM fields.

Ouachita's Cole Jester wins Ouachita-Henderson State's annual Business Plan Competition

Senior Cole Jester earned first place in the competition for his business plan, Bone Dri, along with a $4,000 cash prize.

Ouachita senior Cole Jester wins third place in statewide Governor's Cup Business Plan Competition
May 03, 2019Ouachita Baptist University’s Cole Jester, a senior Christian studies/biblical studies and political science double major from Benton, Ark., received third place and a $10,000 cash prize in the undergraduate division of the annual Governor’s Cup Business Plan Competition, held in Little Rock earlier this spring, for his business plan Bone Dri.
