March 26, 2019Ouachita Baptist university’s Division of Music will host Logan Dooley and Madeline Martin in their sophomore recitals Friday, March 29, at 11 a.m. The recitals will be held in McBeth Recital Hall in Mabee Fine Arts Center and are free and open to the public.

Ouachita Percussion Ensemble to present concert April 3
March 15, 2019Ouachita Baptist University’s Percussion Ensemble will present a concert on Wednesday, April 3, at 8 p.m. in Ouachita’s McBeth Recital Hall in Mabee Fine Arts Center.
Ouachita Baptist University will host Melba Pattillo Beals, who is widely known as a member of the Little Rock Nine, for a lecture on Tuesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. in Jones Performing Arts Center.
Ouachita Baptist University was one of 36 colleges to send delegates to the Midwest Model United Nations, which was held in St. Louis, Mo., in late February.
Ouachita Baptist University’s Ouachita Student Foundation (OSF) recently was recognized as the Outstanding Student Advancement Organization for District 4 by the national Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Affiliated Student Advancement Programs (ASAP). OSF’s vice president, Selby Tucker, also was recognized as Outstanding Student Leader for the district.
Ouachita yearbook one of five to receive national CSPA Crown Award
