Ouachita Department of Theatre Arts to present "Hay Fever" Nov. 4-8
October 20, 2020Ouachita Baptist University’s Department of Theatre Arts will present its fall production, “Hay Fever,” beginning Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Verser Theatre. Performances will continue Nov. 5-7 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee performance on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 2:30 p.m.

Ouachita surprises students by canceling classes Oct. 16, declaring Student Catch-Up Day
October 16, 2020Ouachita Baptist University surprised its students today, Oct. 16, by declaring it Student Catch-up Day and canceling classes in an effort to encourage self-care. The unplanned break was largely in response to a survey of students conducted last weekend to check in on their academic and personal well-being in the midst of an unprecedented semester.

October 15, 2020For Caroline Derby, who first wore purple and gold at Ouachita football games as an infant, choosing to attend Ouachita was the natural choice. Growing up close enough to campus to ride her scooter on its sidewalks and being present at countless football games and Tiger Tunes performances, Caroline built a special connection with the community of faculty, staff and students long before she stepped on campus as a student.
