Cornerstone Fund Stories: Sarah Collins

Sarah Collins, a communications & media major from Lucas, Texas, fell in love with Ouachita when she visited campus for the first time. As a minister's child, Collins said her family prayerfully considered the cost, but it was the scholarships and support of donors that gave Collins peace about her choice.

Ouachita honors 309 graduates during 133rd commencement

Ouachita Baptist University celebrated 309 graduates from the classes of 2019 and 2020 during its 133nd commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 5. The ceremony, which was rescheduled from its original date in May due to COVID-19, was held outdoors at Cliff Harris Stadium on Ouachita’s campus.

Bryant Adams: Alumnus returns to complete degree after 20 years in politics

In 1999, Bryant Adams came to Ouachita as a theology and history double major. He would leave four years later – only six hours shy of his degree – for an opportunity of a lifetime. Thanks to Ouachita Online, Adams was able to pick up where he left off and now holds a degree in interdisciplinary studies.
